Why You Should Use Automatic Coffee Machines

Friday, October 30th, 2009

One of the first things I use every morning is my automatic coffee maker. Of course, my daughter is running around, and our cat is mewing to be fed, but without having my morning coffee, none of these things will get done. Although I can set my coffee maker to brew morning coffee before I wake up, this is not something that I choose to do. I wish to grind my coffee beans using a manual coffee grinder system, and that means that I have to do it directly before I brew. If I do not, my coffee isn’t as delicious as I would like.

Some time ago I had an automatic coffee machine that my hubby bought using his citi-bank mastercard gold creditcard. Of course it brewed coffee good enough, but I found that the flavor was off. My hubby went out and purchased me a more expensive single serve coffee maker system, since then I have been really happy with the tasting of my coffee. Even though the timer allow me to set my coffee brewer to brew early in the morning, I find that it’s not my thing. If there would be something wrong with the filter, coffee would be all over the counter. That’s truly not something I want to think about.

If you are a single person always on the go perhaps you want a machine that {functions on a personal level|offers personal functions}. This means that the coffee maker should be designed to make few cups of brew at morning. You are busy and you probably only have time for a quick cup in the morning before you leave your home. A single cup automatic coffee maker is the right choice for singles. You don’t have to worry about leftovers because you only make as much as you need.

Other smaller machines make four cups of coffee at the same time. This type of machine is a great alternative for all couples who are too busy to savor coffee every morning. The four-cup option is great when you don’t want to worry about brewing too much and it is almost always better to minimizing the portions in a bigger unit.

Stove top Espresso

Monday, October 26th, 2009

When it comes to stovetop espresso maker machines, you need not go past the classic Bialetti Moka Express stove top coffee maker . It’s not a stove top espresso maker machine in the traditional sense as steam forces water into the coffee rather than boiling water, but it does make a delightful mocha coffee.
Don’t be fooled into thinking it’s not an authentic stove top espresso machine. It makes beautiful coffee. You would struggle to see a house in Italy without a stove top Bialetti Moka espresso machine .

There have been more than 200 million machines produced and a great deal of their success is due to the simplicity of use. All that is required is that you pour cold water into the bottom of the pot, place the full of coffee filter into place, screw on the top, sit it on the stove and wait. Fairly soon you will hear the sweet sound of the coffee bubbling and that beautiful aroma of fresh espresso will flood your senses. In about a couple of minutes you’ll have a great espresso to enjoy.
Adding sweetener to espresso is a little controversial today, but still part of the espresso tradition. Having said that, a perfectly made espresso requires nothing to enhance the taste and your doctor will be happy that you’re staying away from sugar. It must be noted that great espresso starts with great coffee. Roasting coffee beans is a science and fresh ground coffee is essential, but if you don’t have a grinder yet make sure you buy the best quality freshly ground coffee you can buy . Buy as little as you need , as ground coffee only has a limited shelf life. Don’t forget the most Crucial part of stovetop espresso espresso coffee, enjoyment! Having great friends to share with you and a few choice cakes enhances to the experience.

Some Known Truths About The Coffee Bean

Thursday, October 15th, 2009

Though most coffee drinkers know quite a lot about the coffee bean including which beans provide the best taste and how best to roast and grind them, there are nevertheless a few interesting facts about the coffee bean that not everyone knows about. A variety of Arabica bean species known as the Nicaragua Maragogipe is the largest coffee bean.

Best Conditions To Grow The Cofee Beans

Another interesting fact related to the coffee bean is that for the beans to be at their best requires that they get the right amount of sun, shade, rain and they should also be grown in the proper climatic conditions. Furthermore, for those of you that believe that the coffee bean is native to Costa Rica you will have to admit that this is not so because the beans were only introduced to that country in the year 1799 by a Spanish traveler known as Navarro.

Strangely enough, the coffee beanis not in fact a bean at all and they also do not belong to the legume family either but are pits that are generally found in the coffee berry. Furthermore, the coffee bean is graded in a number of different ways. For example, beans from Columbia are graded as Supremo and Excelso and Extra as well as Pasilla.

On the other hand, the coffee beanfrom Kenya is graded according to letter combinations such as AA, PB, AB, E, C and TT and also T and these grades refer to the bean’s size and shape and also density of the bean. A person should try to get the large sized coffee beans to to make the delicious coffee.

Even in these modern times it is still common to find the coffee berries being picked by hand and a typical coffee worker will be able to pick from hundred to two hundred pounds of coffee berries in a single day. Finally, an acre of coffee will provide you about ten thousand pounds of coffee berries that then works out to about two thousand pounds of coffee beans.

The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Company (also referred to as The Coffee Bean) is based in Los Angeles, California and is a coffee chain that is owned by as well as operated by the company known as Coffee & Tea LLC. The forty-fifth anniversary of The Coffee Bean was celebrated in the month of September, 2008.

Kona Peaberry Coffee is Pleasantly Aromatic

Thursday, October 8th, 2009

Enjoying the perfect cup of coffee is almost every coffee lover’s dream. Kona Peaberry coffee can provide that delicious cup satisfaction guaranteed. Due to the perfect combination of sun and rain, elevation and location, Kona, Hawaii is famous for growing this perfect bean. It is a very dark and rich bean that is shipped all over the world.

There are many brands of coffee sold in Hawaii, but only one that has been specifically marked “Kona Peaberry Coffee.” Only coffee grown in a specific area of Kona can be called Peaberry and is graded “prime.” It is one of the only beans in Hawaii that has received the grade of “prime” and is stamped that way on the package. Do not accept substitutions.

Kona Peaberry coffee is classified as “Extra Fancy” and costs more not only because you are getting a bigger and denser bean, but because you are also getting a rarer bean and only accounts for approximately 5% of the coffee bean crop. Peaberry is a “freak of nature” so to speak, and occurs when the coffee cherry yields only one bean instead of two. The Peaberry bean is shaped like a football; it is not flat on one side and round on the other, like a regular coffee bean. It also has a lower acid content than regular beans. Some believe that the cylindrical shape causes this bean to roast differently than a regular bean giving it a much different taste.

A French Press coffee pot is the best method with which to taste the great flavor of Kona Peaberry coffee. The brewing in the press produces a smooth rich flavor cup of coffee. Peaberry coffee is a less acidic yet bolder coffee bean and being brewed in a press would produce the ultimate cup of coffee.

When purchasing a package of Kona Peaberry Coffee inspect the ingredient label carefully. It can only be called that if it is 100% Kona Peaberry Coffee. It may say that it is a “Kona” blend. That could mean that it is part Hawaiian coffee, possibly grown in other areas, and a small part Kona Peaberry Coffee.

It is well worth the extra cost to buy pure Kona Peaberry Coffee. You will not be disappointed.

Commercial Coffee Roasting Equipment

Sunday, October 4th, 2009

Your dream has come true and you are in the coffee shop business? It sounds like a dream come true, but it is actually an unpredictable and difficult business when you consider the demand of customers for a good quality product.

When you purchase already roasted coffee, the exact freshness of the product is often debatable. The risk with already roasted coffee is the possibility of the inclusion of degraded or stale coffee beans. You want to maintain your customer base by offering consistent quality or they will drive the extra mile to the next coffee shop. If you’ve been selling a brand of roasted coffee which is not top-notch, it is your own business which will suffer!

If only you could somehow enhance your long-term performance as well as your day-to-day operations and not worry constantly about freshness. If you have commercial coffee roasting equipment, you can.

But you worry about purchasing such a piece of equipment, as you are no roast master. What you might not realize is that commercial coffee roasting equipment today comes entirely computerized, ending the guesswork that a roast master had to diligently learn how to do first. These machines even feature color touch-screens. This allows you to have great control of your recipe and manual modes of roasting.

In fact, when you create a roast profile that your customers are particularly pleased with, these machines allow them to save the recipes for you. It is very helpful for safe operation to have fault screens which indicate various potential problems with your machine, like whether door pressures or valve pressures are off.

Having your own commercial coffee roasting equipment also means that you can create your own brands of coffee through experimentation and arrive at blends that will have your retail sales climbing, not by the cup, but in fresh roasted coffee beans sold by the bagful. It is also possible that when you discover blends that work for your customers, you may also wish to go into wholesaling your roasted coffee to other retailers.

No longer having to rely on pre-roasted coffee is a freedom that you will treasure. There is a cost advantage to buying and roasting your own green coffee beans, and once you try it, you will realize the good business sense it makes to roast your own beans. One key to a successful business enterprise is self reliance which is just the opportunity this will afford you.

Finally, of course, there is also a chance to vary your product selection. Often this has been what helps a retail coffee shop to grow substantially. You will likely get feedback from your regular customers and may then offer individualized services.

In conclusion, being able to control complete freshness will be available to you; costs will eventually go down, as green beans are less expensive; your business may expand if you create a roasting recipe people want to purchase; and finally you may very well create a recipe that will allow you to sell your coffee on a wholesale basis. All this because you considered purchasing a commercial coffee roasting machine and acted upon it!
